Ingredients:
1/2 Avocado
1 Cup Spinach
1 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk (or any milk you prefer)
2 scoops vanilla pea protein powder (your protein powder should supply 16-20 grams of protein)
3-4 ice cubes
Toppings:
1/2 Banana, sliced
1/3 Cup Raspberries
1 Kiwi, sliced
2 tablespoon Chia Seeds
Instructions:
In a blender combine avocado, spinach, almond milk, maple syrup, protein powder and ice blend until smooth. Top with banana, raspberries, kiwi and chia seeds.
Notes: Other options could be to drizzle with honey, sprinkle with coconut flakes or chopped almonds. Also, spinach and avocado can be added to any flavor smoothie to get added veggies and good fat. Avocado adds a nice creaminess and spinach will change the color but not the flavor. Enjoy! ~Amy
