Hello, Hello, Hello!

I’m Amy Scott-MacLean!

I am so excited you are looking around my site and wanting to learn more about me! I am a woman in mid-life that is fun loving, food loving and passionate about helping women reach their healthy weight through coaching and my life changing A Wiser Weigh program. I am a Disney running Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Wellness Coach! I live at the beach, I take a walk with my husband and son (he is home form college because of the pandemic) every day and I vacation at Disney as often as I can (until recently of course.)

So here is the real truth…I am a wife, a mom, a daughter, a sister, a small business owner, a friend, a volunteer and sometimes I feel like I have too much on my plate. I have days when I don’t have time to exercise. I have nights I don’t sleep well and that makes my food choices the next day a challenge because I would rather eat a chocolate chip cookie for breakfast then make myself a healthy smoothie. And, I come from a family of heavy women. I have to make a committment every day to make healthy choices for myself because of my genes I might be as round as an apple. I have decided to make health and well-being my lifestye and I can help you with that too. I can help you reach your healthy weight and feel really good in your body.

A Little More About Me ~

  • I love, love, love dark chocolate! Dessert just isn’t worth it if it isn’t chocolate!
  • I am a Disney running enthusiast! I have completed more then a few 10K’s, Half Marathon’s and Challenges.
  • I live at the beach and walk to the ocean every day!
  • I am a wife and a mom of one great kid! I wouldn’t trade either of these two for anything!
  • I am passionate about helping women feel good in their body’s by reaching their right healthy weight.

I have been working with Amy at WellnessWise for many years regarding my nutritional health, specifically based on my diabetes and high blood pressure. Over time, I have come to rely on Amy’s coaching for a more holistic approach to my health. First the importance of exercise to gain strength.
